Spiritual Approaches to Illness, Death, and Grief

To Register: UC Berkeley Extension, Counseling & Psychotherapy
October 22-23, 2011 at UC Berkeley, California

This two-day workshop addresses the spiritual issues of the ill, dying, and bereaved. Myths and folktales about loss and grief, as well as case vignettes, illustrate the psychospiritual issues that arise in psychotherapy. Learn how to conduct a spiritual assessment, develop spiritual interventions, and use creative arts and dreams in therapy. Experiential exercises that draw on the ancient wisdom of spiritual traditions and clinical understandings from case material help prepare you to meet the psychological and spiritual challenges of these major life transitions.

Leben angesichts der Endlichkeit [To Live with your Mortality]

To Register: Deutsche Krebshilfe, Dr. Mildred Scheel Akademie
October 5-7, 2011 in Cologne, Germany
